Location

Appuldurcombe Gardens Holiday Park is located on the outskirts of the small village of Wroxall - about 3 miles from Shanklin and Ventnor.

Our idyllic family holiday park is situated within 14 acres of lush secluded grounds, surrounded by beautiful open countryside. We are located in the valley of the Stenbury and St Martin’s Downs, which is a designated area of outstanding natural beauty, an ideal spot for bird watching and horse riding. For walkers and cyclists, there are also an excellent network of footpaths and cycle paths, which can be accessed within minutes.

We are just minutes by car or bus from the superb beaches of Shanklin, Sandown and Ventnor. We make an ideal base for families with plenty of nearby walks and local attractions.

The Isle of Wight is a very special place. It is 21 miles wide by 13 miles long and half of its area is designated as an area of outstanding natural beauty, a nationally important landscape.

Within its small area the Island has a very varied landscape with many different habitats.

Getting to the Park

From any port follow signs and head for Newport, take the A3020, turning off towards Shanklin. Go through the villages of Blackwater, Rookley, Godshill and Sandford. At Whiteley Bank roundabout turn right onto the B3327 (St Johns Road), travel along this road and go past the Donkey Sanctuary (which will be on your righthandside) and keep going into the village of Wroxall. Once you enter into the village, you need to take the 2nd turning on the right (into Appuldurcombe Road) – there will be a brown sign on the left side of the road. Drive slowly along this road, past Old School Court, and the main entrance to our Park is 150 yards up the hill on the right hand side. It is the 2nd entrance on the right hand side.
